gender. Mare
age. 5 and 1/2
color/markings. Cherry bay with black mane and tail. She has a white star and snip on her thin face.
breed. Morab (Morgan Arab Cross)
height. 14.3 hands
*history. I was born into the normal typical herd of wild horses. My mother was an wild Arabian, my father a Morgan mustang. My father was a wise leader but like all stallions, with age came trouble. He was attacked, and after loosing the battle, was forced to leave. He took my mother and I with him in a last ditch effort to keep our small family together. I was still a foal, though old enough to be away from her, when my mother was roped and taken by rachers to be sent to the west. My father tried to help her, but couldn't and she told him to run off with me to get away from the wranglers. My dad raised me to be strong and independent and to never trust anything but instinct. This key lesson has kept me alive all these years. He eventually died of old age but I was a teen by then. Its been 4 years that I've been on my own... I think I'm ready to find a family. I'd prefer just a stallion and our foals to make up our her, like my small family before, but I wouldn't mind a few other mares around to be like sisters to me.
*personality. Kind, caring, amazingly fast, smart, stronger than she looks, and loving. I will fight for love, friends, and my future family, I can be sad and depressed when I'm emotionally hurt, but also loyal and usually bubbley and friendly. I love to be with my closest of friends (but sometimes I just want to be alone, so don't fight me on it, just go away.) Beware, I speak fluent sarcasm and have an adventurous and courageous side as well.

***
name. Rough Around the Edges (Roughie)
gender. Mare
age. 7
color/markings. A slightly dappled grey mare with a dark grey mane, light grey tale. Roughie has a blad face and four white stockings, though its hard to tell on her grey coat, as well as a darker grey circle around her right eye.
breed. Irish Draught/Mustang
height. 16 hands
*history. Roughie was born into a herd close to human civilization. Most of these horses were rounded up and taken to barns in the area for showing because of their flashy gaits and beauty. Luckily, Roughie was one to escape due to her great strength and size. She may seem big and clumsy but in reality she is graceful and sure-footed, which is why her home is on the rocky plateau. She can even move pretty fast when speed is needed.
*personality. Roughie is the gentle giant type but

name. March to Glory (Glory)
gender. Stallion
age. 3
color/markings. Jet black all over, no markings.
breed. Thoroughbred Mustang (because he isn't a purebred TB he is much bulkier and even has some feathering.)
height. 15.3 hands
*history. Glory has always been a wild horse. Born as an old leaders son, Glory had missed his chance to become a leader himself- but that never stopped him. Glory worked for two years to bring himself to the top. Now he reigns wise and strong over the Valtameren herd.
*personality. Glory loves to run, which is why he loves the beach. His favorite pass time is galloping down the ocean stretch through the shallow water. Glory is the epitome of an athletic horse. He is flashy, sporty, and high-strung. He is impossibly fast and intelligent with stamina to spare. Glory has a short temper when it comes to ignorance and lazy behavior. Glory gives everything he has to his herd. He is kind and gentle with mares and foals, though, and can sense when he needs to take it down a few notches and get down to business. His usual disposition is feisty and wild but he can be as calm and gentle as ever. He is the true embodiment of freedom and genuine good personality overall.
Herd. Leader of The Valtameren Herd

name. Cricket
gender. Mare
age. 7
color/markings. Bay piebald with light mane and tail.
breed. Paint/QuarterHorse/Mustang
height. 15.1 hands
*history. Cricket and Oliver were born into the Munte Herd but being twins, their birth was too hard on their mother and she died shortly after. Luckily another mare who had recently lost her own foal took on the challenge of raising the pair. The two clung to each other but neither could shake off the guilt eating at the back of their minds. Neither could shake the thought that they were responsible for their mother's death.
*personality. She is skittish and some-what shy but once you get to know her she opens up like a flower and responds beautifully. Cricket is constantly with her twin brother Oliver, some say they are attached at the hip (figuratively, of course). She often hides behind him and his charismatic attituded to cover up what she lacks.

*personality. Oliver is very calm and composed, diplomatic and eloquent. He usually sticks to behaving himself and using his manners... up to a point. He is, after all, a foal at heart. Though despite his confidence and charm, Oliver is a bit self-conscious. He usually stands up for his sister and would die to protect her.

Hielo (meaning ice in spanish)
Mare
4
Blue roan with fully black face and one pale hoof.
Mustang
15.3hh
Hielo is a beautiful but torn girl. Her heart is pure even with the damage done to it in her so far short-lived life. She is kind and extremely shy. She is very paranoid and never rests easy. When she's mad or upset with you you'll know because of the ice cold glare she'll send your way, even as a foal she did this, and that was how she was named.
She'd rather not talk about her history, but may end up spilling the beans to someone if she really trusts and loves them. The only thing I'll give away is that she was Fuego's first foal.
For now she'll roam, but if she is claimed by a lead stallion she probably won't fight it too much.

Fuego (meaning fire in spanish)
Stallion
7
Red roan, fully chestnut face.
Mustang
16hh
Fuego is a typical male. He is demanding of respect and attention and is a little outwardly rebellious at times. He has a hard time staying loyal since he's always looking for something new, bigger and better. He is decent towards others as long as they are civil back, but believes that males are potential allies/enemies and females could only be potential mates.
Feugo was born and raised to procreate; or at least that's what he was always taught. Upon reaching maturity the lead stallion of his birth herd, as expected, kicked him out and sent him running for the hills. Fuego then met his new group, the bachelor herd, and together they raised hell. Every once in a while they stole a mare but never kept her long. They didn't want to care for their foals, only to continuously make them; Feugo was no different. The only one of his offspring he knows about is Hielo, but he only stumbles across her every so often. Besides, he never much liked her anyway.
